Here, you'll find various examples of audio ads I've scripted. Contracted by Spotify to produce the ads, they were made to be aired for music listeners, podcast listeners, or a combination of the two. I also had the opportunity to write ads for various podcast hosts on the Spotify network, including Joe Rogan, Call Her Daddy, Distractible, Two Hot Takes, What Now with Trevor Noah, Good Hang with Amy Poehler, and more.

Burger King
This ad was slotted to air around Halloween and was on the podcast show Unsolved Mysteries. To match the tone of the holiday and show, I created a short ad that would embody "spooky", but in a way that was still light-hearted to also match the brand.

Shopify
I wrote several scripts for this brand over the years. Sometimes, it was fully produced with in-house voice talent. Other times, it would be scripted as a host-read ad that would need riff options for the host. Here, I've included examples of both. The greatest challenge was figuring out the timing and what main talking points to include from the multiple pages that the brand provided.

Volkswagen
This ad was produced as part of an A/B test the brand wanted to run. And unlike other auto ads, what I enjoyed while writing this one was that they weren't trying to sell you a specific car. Instead, they wanted a more unique approach to focus on brand awareness, pushing listeners to chase after goals.

ZipRecruiter
Here's another client I've written scripts for over several years. In this particular instance, I was tasked with creating a host-read custom segment that would be sponsored by ZipRecruiter. I needed to create a scripted intro and outro as well as discussion prompts that tied into the theme of the segment "Next Big Opportunity."
